  So good I stuffed myself! My wife and I were out and about in Kansas and stopped here for lunch. We both ordered General Tso's chicken with fried rice and egg roll, crab rangoon, and fried wontons. All these items are your standard fare at a Chinese restaurant.
  
  While it may be standard fare, the food had flavor and a wonderful taste! The chicken was not greasy, but evenly coated with the sauce and the smaller pieces mean they were slightly crunchy and perfect to mix with your rice. It also had a wonderful taste...sweet, sticky, with just the slightest hint of heat. The rice was spot on, cooked well, and the egg roll was fried and perfectly sized for a meal. Our side orders were delicious. I'm picky when it comes to crab rangoon and these were perfect! Not bland cream cheese fried in a shell (yuck) but they had a soft sweet creamy interior, perfectly fried to a crispy exterior. The fried wontons were also done perfectly and had flavor!
  
  That's the theme for this restaurant: flavor. So much Chinese food has no flavor or little of it. In addition, the interior is clean, bathrooms tidy and clean, and you can tell the owner(s) take pride in their restaurant.

  I was expecting mediocre and was pleasantly surprised  The food was very good.  We ordered egg foo yung which is not a common dish.  It was cooked fresh and the sauce was very good also.  The restaurant did a booming take out business while we were there, so I think they are more popular than the few who were eating indicated.  You must try this place!

  My brother told me about this place so I had to check it out.  Service was super quick, food pretty accurate for being in Kansas and low prices.   I'm happy to have a decently priced Asian restaurant in this area so when I visit I have some place to go.  Beware that the soup is hot, I burned my mouth.  Oops.  Check them out.

  This is delicious Chinee American food. If I eat any kind of oriental food I prefer to go sit down and order it off a menu so it's made to order. I never judge service or food when a restaurant first opens but these people are doing it right and are extremely nice. The remodel is also gorgeous and the lights were amazing. HUGE portions and cheap prices. Paid $15 for an app and entree and had half of each left over for another meal which comes out to $7.5/meal and you can not beat that. It's a nice addition to Winfield and hopefully they supoort it.This is not a buffet & they don't take AmEx.

  I eat at lucky star every time I come to Winfield, portion are good and food is great. Hot and fresh.
